Laura worked on maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, infectious disease, adolescent health as well as other public health related issues in the community close to the Honduran border in Nicaragua.  She continues to be involved in public health through work at John Snow, Inc in the international division, and, as a student at the Boston University School of Public Health.  Laura enjoys the challenge of getting former volunteers more involved and invested in the community.  She looks forward to planning and participating in many community service events in the upcoming months and years. And check out the new community service page on the website www.barpcv.org.
