BARPCV - Fundraising and Grants
BARPCV raises funds and disburses grants to RPCVs to support community development projects here in the US through the recently-revived BARPCV Small Grants Program and to current PCVs working overseas through the Peace Corps Partnership Program. BARPCVs mission is to support local and international communities by sharing our skills gained through Peace Corps service, development and professional experiences. To support this mission, BARPCV now offers Small Grants in the amounts of $ 50 $ 500 to BARPCVs for community development projects that fulfill at least one of the four BARPCV goals:
- continue serving our communities
- encourage prospective Peace Corps applicants
- help current volunteers and support returned Peace Corps volunteers
- promote world understanding.
Small Grants funded by BARPCV have been used in the
past to support global library programs, housing and home
improvement volunteer organization
