In Celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Peace Corps, the Boston Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (BARPCV), National Peace Corps Association (NPCA), and John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum invite you to join us at the on Sunday, March 1st for a showing of the documentary film “A Towering Task: The Story of the Peace Corps,” directed by RPCV Alana De Joseph. Each one of us has been touched by our own Peace Corps story and has carried forward that experience in our work and in our private lives. Join us in celebration of our Peace Corps Experiences as we enter a new decade.
This is a free event. The film showing will be accompanied by free access to the JFK Museum and a short Question & Answer session after the film. Learn more and reserve your seat here.
While this event is free and open to RPCVs and the general public, we are seeking donations to support this event, including the cost of film licensing and other administrative expenses. We hope that in addition to joining us on March 1st, you will also consider making a contribution in support of this event. The first $500 donated will be matched by the generosity of an anonymous donation from one of our members.*
