Emerald Necklace Park Conservation
Date: June 11, 2022
Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please Arrive at 9:45.
Description: Assist Emerald Necklace staff and volunteer leaders with park maintenance, ecological restoration and invasive species management work! Tasks can range from trash cleanups to invasive plant species removal to plantings.
Spots: 10 volunteer spots available .
Guidelines:
• Wear clothes that you will not mind getting dirty.
• Wear closed-toe shoes.
• If it is cold or raining, bring a jacket or dress in layers.
• Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat
· Do not wear rings or loose jewelry
Location: Jamaica Pond, 217 Jamaicaway Boston, MA 02130. Meet at the Jamaica Pond Parking Lot at the corner of Jamaicaway and Willow Pond Road. Google Map link: here
