Deadline to Volunteer with BARPCV at the Boston Marathon Approaching Quickly! 18 More Volunteers Needed.

BARPCV at the Boston Marathon - our 8th year!

The Boston Marathon is coming up on Monday, April 19th (Patriots' Day - a Massachusetts holiday!), and BARPCV will again be volunteering at a water station. We'll be setting up water and Gatorade tables and handing out beverages to runners. This year we'll be at mile 23 in Brookline (Green Line: Washington Square) - fairly close to the finish. We need 60 volunteers! To volunteer, follow these instructions:

Join the BARPCV 50th Planning Committee! As you may know Peace Corps will be turning 50 years old in 2011. As the home to the Kennedy Library and the Peace Corps Archives, Boston will be home to a variety of celebratory events. We’re currently looking for a few dedicated individuals to help plan and organize events in the Boston area to celebrate the occasion.
